1. Diligent Praise

Lyrics ▼

I will praise you (Psalm 57:7)
I will praise you (Psalm 108:1)
I will praise you (2 Samuel 22:4)
I will praise you (Psalm 28:7)

Tears in my eyes and I don’t know why
But I –
I still praise you
I still praise you

Maker of all of the stars in the sky (Genesis 1:16)
Yes I –
I will praise you
I will praise you

And when the spirit of heaviness lays (Isaiah 61:3)
Oh I –
I will praise you
I will praise you

Exchange it for the garment of praise (Isaiah 61:3)
Yes I –
I will praise you
I will praise you

Your grace is sufficient for my life (2 Corinthians 12:9)
And I don’t need to ask no questions why

Story ▼

The Lord blessed me with this song which is based on the following scriptures:

(Psalm 57:7) “My heart is fixed, O god, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.”

(Psalm 108:1) “O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.”

(2 Samuel 22:4) “I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.”

(Psalm 28:7) “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”

(Genesis 1:16) “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”

(Isaiah 61:3) “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.”

(2 Corinthians 12:9) “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

2. Bereshit - In The Beginning
Lyrics ▼

Azai Melech (and he is King)
The king is he
He is the king of sovereignty (1 Chronicles 29:11-13)
And as he was
So shall he be (Malachi 3:6)
as bereshit (in the beginning) (John 1:1-5)

Azai Melech
The king is he
He is the king of sovereignty
And as he was
So shall he be as bereshit

As bereshit
As bereshit

As bereshit
As bereshit

And he is king (psalm 145:10-11)
Above all things

And he is king
Above all things

And he is king
Above all things

And he is king
Above all things

Story ▼

Azai Melech means, and he is King in Hebrew, and the word Bereshit means, in the beginning.

This song is based on the following scriptures. I was fortunate enough to be blessed with it on September 27, 2007.

(1Chronicles 29:11-13) “Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.  Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.  Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.”

(Malachi 3:6) “For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”

(John 1:1-5) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

(Psalm 145:10-11) “All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.  They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power.”

3. Moses At The Red Sea

Lyrics ▼

Lift thou rod (Exodus 14:16)
Stretch out thine hand
And the children shall go on dry land

Lift thou rod
Stretch out thine hand
And the children shall go on dry land

Lift thou rod
Stretch out thine hand

Watch the sea be
Divided for them
Oh let the sea be –
be divided by two walls (Exodus 14:22)

Lift thou rod
Stretch out thine hand
And the children shall go on dry land

Lift thou rod
Stretch out thine hand
And the children shall go on dry land

Lift thou rod
Stretch out thine hand

Fear not (Exodus 14:13)
Stand still
And see your salvation
Stand still
And see the –
the salvation of the Lord

Story ▼

This is a song from the Lord about the Exodus from Egypt given to me on April 1, 2009.

(Exodus 14:16) “But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.”

(Exodus 14:22) “And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.”

(Exodus 14: 13) “And Moses said unto the people, fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever.”

4. A Name And A Praise

Lyrics ▼

Sing, o daughter of Zion (Zephaniah 3:14-17)
Shout, o Israel
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart
Jerusalem – Jerusalem
Jerusalem -thy God is in the midst of thee

Yes I will make you a name and a praise (Zephaniah3:20)
Among all people of the earth
The Lord thy mighty God is in the midst of thee

Yes I will make you a name and a praise
Among all people of the earth
The Lord thy mighty God is in the midst of thee

Sing, o daughter of Zion
Shout, o Israel
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart

Jerusalem – Jerusalem
Jerusalem – thy God is in the midst of thee

Story ▼

This song was gifted to me on April 27, 2008 and is based on the following scriptures:

(Zephaniah 3:14-17) “Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.  The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.  In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, fear thou not: and to Zion, let not thine hands be slack.  The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.”

(Zephaniah 3:20) “At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord.”

5.Selah

Lyrics ▼

God of Abraham we praise thee
We lift thee and we thank thee
We give our eyes unto thee
Our ears we do the same

Blessed are our eyes for they see (Matthew 13:16-17)
Our ears they hear you clearly
There is no one above thee
Forever and Amen

Selah – Selah – Selah – Selah
Pause and reflect as we praise
Selah – Selah – Selah – Selah
Pause and reflect as we praise

Story ▼

This song was gifted to me on 1-26-08 and is based on the following scripture in (Matthew 13:16-17) “But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.”

Those who read the bible eventually come across the word Selah, but for anyone who is unaware of its meaning, a very beautiful but poignant pause, rest, or chance to reflect has been missed.  Selah, or Celah in Hebrew, means to measure or weigh.  Just as in the scriptures, the word Selah in this song is meant to signal the believer to stop for a moment and meditate in order to “measure” wisely, or “weigh” carefully what has just been said.

Let’s face it, life can be extremely repetitive. Many times its rhythmic beat is the reason we find ourselves on mental autopilot; therefore, it is possible to sing without ever actually stopping to meditate on the words we are offering up to God.  As worshippers of God, we need to guard ourselves from going into praise and worship like robots. The lyrics of this song are not only a reminder to pause and reflect or meditate on its words as you sing along, but this song is also meant to be sung with an attitude of gratefulness for the fact that the scripture Matthew 13:16-17 is alive in us. Selah is like a miniature Sabbath, it is how we as believers should be going into every minute of our day, stopping; listening for the voice of God, and then reflecting on everything he has just said.

{Other possible interpretations of Selah are;

- A blessing meaning forever.

- Selah can be a substitute for Amen.

- Selah is the name of a city from the time of Solomon.

There is a possibility that the word Selah might have been a musical directive back in the days of David, perhaps a pause or break with a crash of cymbals, or even a blare of trumpets.}

6. Fruit Of The Vine

Lyrics ▼

Here I am – I come to worship you
Bread of life – I come to taste of you (Matthew 26:26)

For Messiah who brings forth bread from the earth has come
And the blood of his sovereignty fills my empty cup (Matthew 26:27)
Yes the fruit of his vine is sweetened for his beloved (Matthew 26:28-29)

Hear now
House of David raise your glass to drink (Matthew 26:27)
Messiah El Shaddai (Hebrew for God Almighty)
He is the sign you seek (Isaiah 7:11 & 14)

He was appointed out of love
To be a sign from up above
And he was risen from the dead (Matthew 26:32)
To rise up again (Matthew 26:64) (Matthew 24:30)

Story ▼

El Shaddai means God almighty in Hebrew. This song was gifted to me on November 13, 2007 and is based on the following scriptures:

(Matthew 26:26) “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, take, eat; this is my body.

(Matthew 26:27) And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

(Matthew 26:28-29) “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.  But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

(Isaiah 7:11& 14) “Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.” “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

(Matthew 26:32) “But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.”

(Matthew 26:64) “Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.”

(Matthew 24:30) “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”

Story ▼

This song was gifted to me on September 14, 2007 and chants about our Messiah Yeshua, the name above every name.  The name Yeshua in Hebrew means salvation, more commonly known as Jesus.

This song was born to encourage the listener to praise the name of salvation Yeshua/Jesus.  It is also meant to be a reminder of the Sh’ma which is the Hebrew prayer in (Deuteronomy 6:4-6) and (Mark 12:29 & 30) which states, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”  This is Gods first and greatest commandment (Matthew 22:36-38).

8. Immanuel - God With Us

Lyrics ▼

Immanuel – rock of my salvation (Psalm 18:46)
Immanuel – rock of my salvation
Immanuel – rock of my salvation
Immanuel – Immanuel

Immanuel – rock of my salvation
Immanuel – rock of my salvation
Immanuel – rock of my salvation
Immanuel – Immanuel

Behold a virgin shall be with child (Matthew 1:23)
And bring forth a son we call Jesus Christ
Born of a virgin
Born being thus
Immanuel meaning – God with us

And he shall set them free
Set the captives free
Including you and me

Immanuel – rock of my salvation
Immanuel – rock of my salvation
Immanuel – rock of my salvation
Immanuel – Immanuel

Immanuel – rock of my salvation
Immanuel – rock of my salvation
Immanuel – rock of my salvation
Immanuel – Immanuel

Story ▼

This song was given to me from the Lord on January 13, 2008 and paints a picture of the precise moment in which the Spirit of God, the light of the world entered into the womb of a virgin.  Scripture describes how our God in heaven took on the human form of a man named Emmanuel, or Immanuel, meaning, God with us.  This is the Savior the world refers to as Jesus Christ. The heartbeat and wind at the beginning of the song are meant to bring the words of (Matthew 1:23) “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” to life.  He is the rock of our salvation (Psalm 18:46) “The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.”

9. My Everything

Lyrics ▼

You are my healer (Matthew 15:30)
You are my comforter (John 14:26)
You are my friend (John 15:14)
You are my living water (John 4:14)

You give me hope in a world that’s so cruel
And you fill my soul with the words of your truth (John 14:6)

By your stripes – I am healed (Isaiah 53:5) (1Peter 2:24)
By your love
I am comforted – so comforted (Isaiah 12:1)

Your word says
You are my friend
Your word is my living water

And I can never fall away
Your love remains the same

You are the same as yesterday (Hebrews 13:8)
Forever and ever and ever
Forever and ever and ever
Forever and ever and ever
Forever and ever and ever

Story ▼

The song, My Everything, is based on the following scriptures:

(Matthew 15:30) “And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus feet; and he healed them.”

(John 14:26) “But the comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

(John 15:14) “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.”

(John 4:14) “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

(John 14:6) “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

(Isaiah 53:5) “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

(1 Peter 2:24) “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

(Isaiah 12:1) “And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.”

(Hebrews 13:8) “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.”

10. The Dirt Cries In Secret

Lyrics ▼

I bless them (Genesis 12:3)
That bless thee
And I curse them that curse thee
I bless them
That bless thee
And I curse them that curse thee

Vengeance is the Lords – it’s the Lord’s (Hebrews 10:30)
Vengeance is the Lords – it’s the Lord’s
And he shall recompense
Yes, he shall judge his people

Stand still – say’s the Lord (2 Chronicles 20:15 & 20:17)
For this battle is not yours but mine
Stand still – say’s the Lord
For this battle is not yours but mine

What the dirt cries in secret
Can be hidden no more
The grave of my people – still stained by their blood

You can still hear them calling (Revelation 6:9-10)
Calling louder each day (Genesis 4:10)
Avenge us oh, Father – how much longer must we wait

Heal us oh, Lord and we shall be healed (Jeremiah 17:14)
Save us and we shall be saved
For you are our praise

What the dirt cries in secret
Can be hidden no more
What the dirt cries in secret
…Secret …secret

Story ▼

Each and every one of us has suffered at the hands of another and has therefore been forced to deal with the issue of forgiveness. While it is true that levels of offense vary from person to person and transgressions run the scale from one to ten, our level of forgiveness as believers must remain the same no matter what the wrongdoing. A full pardon needs to be awarded to all those who do not deserve it because a full pardon was gifted to us from our Father in heaven, at a time when we did not deserve it. (Mark 11:25-26) reminds those who have accepted salvation through Yeshua (Jesus) to forgive, in order that we might partake in the period of grace he has gifted us with, “And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.  But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

Still not ready to hand out a full pardon to someone who doesn’t deserve it?  Although what may have been done to you may seem horrible, there are no acts more sinister, more inhumanely cruel than those atrocities committed during the Holocaust.  Nonetheless, scripture tells us that vengeance is not ours, but the Lords. Though he tarries, there will come a time when God will truly judge his people. He will even judge the secrets of men (Romans 2:16) “In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.”  Until then, it is up to our God to judge, not up to us.

Words are very powerful, this is especially so when the word of God is accompanied by music. The lyrics in this song are a scriptural memorial to my fellow Jewish musicians of the Holocaust; the musical slaves whose blood still cries out from the dirt of Auschwitz II-Birkenau, the worlds largest Jewish graveyard.

During the darkest years of Jewish history it was mandatory for captured Jewish musicians to perform in concentration camps, not only for the German soldiers, but also for the new train arrivals filled with people ready to be gassed. During this horrific period of time at Birkenau, six different orchestras, made up of the best musicians among the prisoners, were forced to exploit their music for the purpose of one thing, and one thing only; mass murder.

These musicians were forced to play background music while sitting adjacent to the railway platform of the concentration camps newest train arrivals.  The Nazi’s strategically placed the orchestra within eye shot of these new spectators; an audience unaware that their destiny was to die in gas chambers, the crematoria, or to become slaves in the labor camps.

The musicians of Birkenau were used like pawns.  They were unwilling accomplices in a diversion to ensnare their fellow Jewish comrades into public punishment, humiliation, and execution upon arrival. Is it any wonder that these people suffered from guilt and depression?

As music and murder went hand in hand, rather than enduring the pain of being beaten and tortured by Nazi soldiers, or worse yet witnessing friends, family and fellow Jews being brutally tormented, some of the more tenderhearted musicians opted take their own lives by throwing themselves into the electrical fences which held them captive. Those musicians who managed to cope and stay alive did so by detaching themselves from reality. At the same time these musician inmates were shown preferential treatment above other inmates, receiving more food and better barracks.  They were also being scrutinized by those same inmates who looked upon them with jealousy and resentment.

While physical scars heal over time, the Holocaust is a scar on humanity which can only be healed by God.  These atrocities have shed the blood of innocent Jews who died at the hands of those who cursed them.  Though their blood still cries out in secret from the dirt of the grounds of Birkenau, at this point it is only the Lord who can hear it and heal it.

**WE MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER TO BLESS ISRAEL**

(Jeremiah 2:3) “Israel was holiness unto the Lord, and the first-fruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them saith the Lord.”

Let us not forget that this song is also a scriptural memorial to the millions of people past and future in (Revelation 6:9-11), those Saints who were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held.  God has not forgotten these precious souls as their blood also cries out to the Lord with a loud voice.  These are the ones who wait under the alter for their fellow servants and their brethren in order that prophecy might be fulfilled.

11. Some Say

Lyrics ▼

Some say
They don’t believe in you
Some say
You don’t exist

You say that you’re Messiah
In your word
Devar Hashem (word of God)

We say
Blessed are you Adonai (Lord)
Our God
King of the universe

Who caused all things to exist by his word

Blessed is he our God
Blessed is he our God
Blessed is he our God

Baruch Eloheinu (Praised be our God)
Baruch Eloheinu
Baruch Eloheinu
Baruch Eloheinu

Story ▼

This song was gifted to me on October 15, 2007 and is based on the following scriptures:

Matthew 16:14-18 “And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.  He saith unto them, but whom say ye that I am?  And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.  And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.  And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

12. Who Knows Him

Lyrics ▼

Jerusalem
Jerusalem
Jerusalem city great and holy (Jeremiah 3:17)

Jerusalem
Jerusalem
Jerusalem city great and holy – so holy

Who goes (Psalm 24:3-4)
Into the Promised Land
He who owns clean hands
And a pure, pure heart

Who knows
The God of Abraham
He who owns clean hands
And a pure, pure heart – a pure, pure heart

Shema, Shema Israel (hear, hear Israel) (Deuteronomy 6:4-6)
Every knee shall bow (Romans 14:11-12)
Every tongue confess – Messiah

Oh hear, hear oh Israel
Every knee shall bow
Every tongue confess Messiah’s come

Story ▼

This song was gifted to me on January 1, 2008 in celebration of the gift of grace which has been offered to all of us though our Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) and is based on the following scriptures:

(Jeremiah 3:17) “At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.”

(Psalm 24:3-4) “Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in his holy place?”  He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.”

(Deuteronomy 6:4-6) “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord:  And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.  And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:”

(Romans 14:11-12) “For it is written, as I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”

(Psalm 18:20-24) “The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God.  For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.  I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.  Therefore hath the Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.”

(Psalm 51:10) “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

(Psalm 73:1) “Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.”

(2 Samuel 22:21) “The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.”

(Matthew 5:8) “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall be called the children of God.”

13. His Mercy Endureth Forever - Psalm 136

Lyrics ▼

His mercy endureth forever
And for this we shall not walk alone
To him who alone doth great wonders
And for this we shall not walk alone
No we shall never walk on our…own

To him that by wisdom made the heavens
To him that stretched earth above sea
To him that made great lights
The sun to rule by the day

His mercy endureth forever
His mercy endureth forever
His mercy endureth forever…Baruch ata Adonai (blessed are you our God)

To him who created the heavens
The moon and the stars to rule by night
To him that brought Israel out of Egypt
With strong hand and with an out-stretched arm

His mercy endureth forever
His mercy endureth forever
His mercy endureth forever…Baruch ata Adonai

To him who divided the red sea
And made Israel to pass through the midst
He gave great kings land for an heritage
Unto Israel his servant mercifully

His mercy endureth forever
His mercy endureth forever
His mercy endureth forever…Baruch ata Adonai

Story ▼

This piece of music was gifted to me on November 1, 2007 and is based on psalm 136.  While this tune may be very entertaining to the ears, please keep in mind that it has deep spiritual implications. The rhythm and the sounds of the different instruments in this song are just as important as the lyrics, as they all refer to the minutes leading up to the exact moment when our Messiah Yeshua (Christ Jesus) arrives to set his feet on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.

The beginning of this song starts with the simultaneous blowing of the Shofar and ringing of the church bells signifying an assembling of the saints, Jews and Gentiles alike.  After which quite a bit of clamoring of different percussions can be heard.  This clamoring represents the coming together of Jews and Gentiles; together as one (echad), under one God.

The next grouping of staccato percussion sounds heard gives the listener the feeling that the crowd of believers (Jews & Gentiles) is being hushed and encouraged to stand still for a moment of absolute silence.

The last grouping of percussions before the lyrics begin are meant to usher in an air of reverent fear and respect for who it is that is about to enter in (Messiah Yeshua), and for what will happen upon his arrival, like for example the way a jury rises and comes to order in the last moments before the judge is about to step into the courtroom.  These sounds are meant to suggest that a meeting has come to order. In this segment of the music these believers begin to brace themselves as they come to the realization that they are in the final moments before the Messiahs arrival.  These are literally the last and final moments for spiritual introspection that they will be graced with.

The very first lyrics of the beginning of the song represent the overall tone of the crowd.  These believers have spent the time prior to Messiah Yeshuas arrival wisely, loving God with all of their hearts, souls and might, as his first and great commandment requires (Deuteronomy 6:4-6) (Matthew 22:36-38). They sing the song of Moses the servant of God.

14. In Heaven Let Us Serve You

Yes Father – We want to come home

O Father – When are you coming
Yes Father – We want to come home… Home…Home

O Abba – We are so weary (Abba means daddy in hebrew)
Yes Abba – We want to come home

O Abba – We are so weary
Yes Abba – We want to come home…Home…Home

Having just watched the violence and mayhem of the evening news before settling in to bed for the night, it occurred to me that the predictions of the bible pointing to the return of the Messiah were one by one starting to come to pass at a rather alarming rate. “Earthquakes,” “famines,” and “pestilences”-virulent fatal epidemic diseases such as the Bird Flu for example; “wars and rumors of wars,” and “fearful sights” all came to mind as signs of the times in which we currently live. (Luke 21: 9-11) “But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.  Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:  And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.”

Viewing the evening news broadcast on this particular night had somehow set a spiritual domino effect of scriptures tumbling down through my mind.  One by one, scriptures vividly came to life as I listened to news reports, the likes of which sounded as if they came straight from (2Timothy 3:1) “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.”

Biblical prophesy has given signs regarding these perilous times we are in, yet some have become so spiritually blind that they cannot discern the signs of these times.  Some simply cannot see, though the truth is directly in front of them. (Matthew 16:2-3) “He answered and said unto them, when it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.  And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowering.  O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?”

Although, the Lords return is eminent, people just don’t seem to take the promise of his coming seriously. It would seem that some have forgotten or never learned the following (2 Peter 3:3-4) “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” (2 Peter 3:9) “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”  Those of us who do take the promise of his coming seriously and maintain an intimate relationship with God understand what it is like to feel spiritually homesick on a daily basis.  It isn’t as if we as believers do not cherish our lives, it’s just that we understand that there is so much more than this physical world we exist in.  It is the deep spiritual comprehension and appreciation for the things which we cannot see, which makes the things we can see of lesser appeal. For the believer, knowing that there is so much more than this physical life, but yet still having to live amongst the people of (2 Timothy 3:1) makes us spiritually groan from within all the more for the Messiahs return.

On October 13, 2007 the Lord woke me up with the song “In Heaven Let Us Serve You” and anchored it with the following scriptures.

(Romans 8:22-23) “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.  And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”

(Matthew 25: 13) “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the son of man cometh.”

(Matthew 24:30) “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”

(Matthew 24: 36-39) “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the son of man be.  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the son of man be.”

(1 Corinthians 15:55) “O death, where is thy sting?  O grave, where is thy victory?
